It all began with José Sabiote González, who dedicated his life to working with natural stone. From that legacy emerged José Antonio Sabiote Tapia, who grew up surrounded by quarries and marble and learned that stone is not just a material—it is a statement.

When Sabiote Stone closed following the retirement of its founder, José Antonio didn’t inherit a company—he inherited an obsession. Together with Cristina Gutiérrez, he turned that legacy into Dishestone: a brand created to take marble where no one had taken it before.
The idea was simple yet radical: to allow the world’s most discerning chefs to serve their creations on custom-designed marble tableware. Unique. One-of-a-kind. As extraordinary as the dishes they would hold.
